Introduction
Due to the pandemic, our Victory Presbyterian Church Wednesday night prayer meetings had to be moved online amidst the grace and providence bestowed by God. During this time, my beloved father and our church pastor emeritus, Pastor Chang Seh Kim, who expressed a strong desire to know and meditate on the gospel of Jesus Christ, which he constantly conveys was able to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ faithfully. In response, I diligently transcribed the gospel message of Jesus Christ proclaimed by my father, writing it with a pen on blank pages and then typing on a computer. And with the assistance of sister in Christ Jung-ah Jo in Korea, we were able to make two precious books "The Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 5-8)" and "The Gospel of Jesus Christ (Four Gospels)" and then give those books as gifts to our church members and others as well. After presenting these two valuable books, my father, during our prayer meetings, resumed preaching from Romans 1, seeking my opinion on how to title his sermons, starting from Romans 1:18. After discussion, the title "Comprehensive Theology of Justification" was decided upon. Subsequently, my father, under this title, proclaimed the Word of God up to Romans 5:21 during our Wednesday night prayer meetings, resulting in the publication of his third book, "Comprehensive Doctrine of Justification."
During this time, I had the privilege of receiving the grace to understand the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, not only through transcribing my father's sermons during online Wednesday night prayer meetings but also through typing sermon notes and meditations. Especially, unlike before, I received the grace to appreciate how crucial and precious the doctrine of justification by faith alone is while meditating on God's Word, which declares that one is justified by faith alone (Rom. 5:1; cf. Rom. 3:24; Gal. 2:16). I pray that you, too, may receive and enjoy this precious grace.
Only Jesus, only by faith!
