I will miss him.

Yesterday Saturday, before the dying service of Evangelist Dok Il An, we were continuously praising God.

And then I urged his family and relatives to approach him in the hospice bed and give him one last word.

At that time, Mrs. An, who was about leave her beloved husband, wept a lot and spoke in her husband's ears.

Then, Evangelist An’s only daughter, who had cared for him with his mother for a long time, cried and said the last words to her beloved father.  After speaking their last words to Evangelist An who was unconscious,

we made the hospital room a sanctuary for God and gave praise to Him and worship Him.

After the dying service, all but the family left the hospice.

And about three hours later, I got a message from Evangelist An’s daughter Jin Kyung through KakaoTalk.

The message was that the beloved Evangelist An had fallen asleep peacefully and was embraced in God's arms.

And later, she sent me another KakaoTalk message like this:  ‘Pastor, Thank you so much.  Every time I asked for it, you came and comforted my dad and my family with praise and words.  So I was able to send my dad comfortably into Heavenly Father's arms.  The last appearance of the father was peaceful appearance.  I'm glad.’  I thanked God.

This Sunday, I am ready to go to church.  When I sit at the back of the church with coffee, I think I will remember the empty seat of beloved Evangelist An.  I will remember him praising God with his beloved daughter in the back seat of the choir.  I will miss him.
