Beatitude (4)
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied" (Mt. 5:6).
The Christian who is hunger and thirst for righteousness ...
- Relies on only the righteousness of Christ that was imputed to him (Rom. 3:22).
He acknowledges that all his righteous deeds are like a filthy garment (Isa. 64:6).
- Seeks first His kingdom and His righteousness (Mt. 6:33).
- Does the right thing in the sight of God.
He walks on the right path with the right thoughts and doing the right things.
- Does good (Tit. 3:1).
He knows that he is created in Christ Jesus for good works (Eph. 2:10).
- Obeys God’s command in the Scripture (Acts 5:29).
