A life of heavenly citizen

Our citizenship is in heaven (Phil. 3:20).

Therefore, we must fulfill our responsibilities as citizens of heaven (1:27).

Th responsibility as citizens of heaven is to keep the law of heaven.

That law of heaven is Jesus’ twofold command:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength

and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself'" (Lk. 10:27).

When we obey this commandment we are taking on our responsibility as citizens of heaven.

Especially when we obey this commandment in our home, the Lord will make our home heaven.

And when He makes our home heaven, the Lord will use our home as a community of witness

to testify the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The family members who conduct themselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ

testify the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with their lives.
