We must be close to the true things.

As we stay far away from the things we suppose to be far away (Prov. 30:8)

At the same time, we must be close to the things we suppose to be close to.

We must stay far away from the vain things and at the same time we must be close to the true things.

We must be close to the truth (Gal. 4:16; Eph. 4:15, 25),

true Witness (Rev. 3:14) and the true grace (1 Pet. 5:12).

In a word, we must be close to the truth, Jesus (Jn. 14:6).
