Short meditation

Even if our situation seems to be worse,

God also uses that situation, eventually leading us to a better reality (Cf. Dan. 1:15, 20; 2:46-49).

God exalts His people in crisis (ch. 2, esp. vv. 48-49) even more (ch. 3, esp. v. 30).

The owner of the home and the church is the Lord.  The Lord reigns our homes and churches.

After realizing this, our homes and churches will be firmly established (Cf. 4:26).

Our Towel of Babel, which we think that with our power and strength we did this, will surely fall.

The Lord will surely humble us who do things in our pride (Cf. 4:30, 37).

When we gradually regard God’s given gifts as our merit even though at first we regarded as God’s grace,

That means our hearts has already become proud.

The result of that proud sin is that God takes away all our gifts (Cf. 5:18-20).

If we don’t humble ourselves, though we know all this,

And not honoring the God who holds in His hand our lives and all our ways

But setting ourselves up against the Lord, Then God will bring it to an end (Cf. 5:22-23, 26).
