Even through the Lord's discipline ...

 

 

Blessed is the man whom God chasten and whom God teach out of His law (Ps. 94:12).

When we receive His law, we must repent and be free from sin so that we may receive relief (v. 13).

Also, when our anxious thoughts multiply within us, we must be held my God’s lovingkindness

So that our souls may be delighted through His consolations (vv. 18-19).
