So that we may not lack anything
In order to be mature and complete, not lacking anything, perseverance must finish its work.
In order for our perseverance to finish its work, we must consider it pure joy
whenever we face trials of many kinds. How is this possible?
This is possible when we know that the testing of our faith develops perseverance. (Jam. 1:2-4)
