My soul finds rest in God alone.

Satan and his worldly crowd, who intend to topple us, the Christians, assault us, throw us down

And take delight in lies, bless with their mouths but in their hearts they curse (Ps. 62:3-4).

In this situation, we must trust in God (v. 8).

Never should we set our hearts on our riches even when our riches increase (v. 10).

And we should pour out our hearts to Him for God is our refuge (v. 8).

Therefore, our soul must find rest in God alone (vv. 1, 5).

The reason is our God alone is “my salvation” and “my hope” (vv. 1, 5).
