A restrained life that enjoys “a day’s portion"?

When God heard the Israelites grumbling against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness

He promised to rain bread from heaven for them.

And God told them to go out and to gather a day’s portion every day.

It was His test, whether or not they would walk in His instruction.

How big was the test to gather only the day’s portion every day

among the many many breads from heaven?  (Exod. 16:2-5)

God blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Eph. 1:3).

If God tests us by commanding us to take only daily blessing that we need out of all the blessings,

Can we live the restrained life of just taking the day’s portion every day?

Let’s say we went shopping with a lot of money and credit cards so we can use as much as we can.

Can we just buy only what we need that day and come out?  Haha.
