Why is it that …?

Why is it that our riches increase when our faith shakes and our spiritual life regress?

(Cf. Ps. 62:3,4, 10)

It is Satan’s strategy.

The purpose of Satan is to make us to serve both God and wealth (Mt. 6:24)

And eventually to make us to rely more on wealth than God.

The purpose of Satan is to make us to love money and hate God.

“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.

Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith

and pierced themselves with many griefs.”

(1 Tim. 6:10)
