Why didn't the result come out as I prayed and expected?

I must look back on my heart through the fruits of my prayer (Mt. 7:17).

The reason why the result come out as I prayed and expected is

Because I am asking God with wrong motives (Jam. 4:3).

Even though I thought I prayed to God wisely (Exod. 1:10)

In the midst of fear and dread (v. 12) which is reaction to the situation I encountered,

It wasn’t sought by God’s wisdom.

I asked God not according to the Lord’s will but my will.

(Cf. Mt. 26:39).
