How and why did God send him before them?

How did God send Joseph to Egypt before his families? (Ps. 105:17)

Did God even use Joseph’s father Jacob who favored Joseph among his sons

and Joseph’s older brothers who hated him? (Gen. 37:3, 4)

Did God use them even by making Joseph to have two dreams and then hated by them? (vv. 5-12)

God even uses the result of our sinful choice of free will to fulfill the promise and dream

that He gave to us (Cf. Rom. 8:28)

Why did God send Joseph to Egypt before his families?

He did so because He wanted to save their lives by a great deliverance

and preserve for them a remnant on earth

(Gen. 45:5, 7, 50:20)

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you

will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 1:6)
