King Abimelech and King Pharaoh?

Abimelech king of the Philistines told Isaac,

Who was blessed by the Lord and thus became rich, continued to grow richer

Until he became very wealthy to “Go away from us, for you are too powerful for u” (Gen. 26:12-16).

Pharaoh king of Egypt told Moses and Aaron,

“Rise up, get out from among my people, both you and the sons of Israel” (Exod. 12:29, 31)

After the tenth plague of all the firstborn in the land of Egypt were dead

While the sons of Israel were fruitful and increased greatly

and multiplied and became exceedingly mighty (1:7)

As the fulfillment of God’s promise to Abraham,

“Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs,

where they will be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years.  

But I will also judge the nation whom they will serve,

and afterward they will come out with many possessions” (Gen. 15:13-14).
