The Christian life

It is extremely normal that the more we live Christian life,

The more we become aware of and deepen our sense of sin (1 Tim. 1:15).

It is very natural that the more we live Christian life,

The more we become conscious of God’s grace and less our sense of merit

(1 Cor. 15:10; Lk. 17:10).

The more we live Christian life, the more we become humble.

Look at Apostle Paul:

  1.  “For I am the least of the apostles …" (1 Cor. 15:9).
  2. “To me, the very least of all saints …” (Eph. 3:8).
  3. “…sinners, among whom I am foremost of all” (1 Tim. 1:15).

Some evidences that I am living wrong Christian life:

  1. I am (or It seems I am) becoming increasingly insensitive to sin (Eph. 4:19).

I don’t regard sin as sin (Rom. 5:13).

  1. I am becoming more and more tied to merit (Lk. 18:11-12).

I think more of what I do for the Lord and His church rather than what He does for me (Mt. 25:44).

  1. I am becoming more and more proud (Prov. 21:4; Ezek. 28:5).

I like to reveal my own glory rather than the glory of God (Jn. 12:43).
