The path of obedience

Although Prophet Jonah went down to Joppa, went down to a ship,

went down into it, and even went down all the way into the deep sea

in disobedience to the Lord’s command (Jonah 1: 1-3, 15).

Jesus came down to this earth in obedience to Heavenly Father,

came down even to wear the human body,

came down to taking the form of a bond-servant (Phil. 2:7),

 came down to the death on the cross, the three of curse,

and eventually went down to Hades.
