Sexual seduction

When the naive young man who lacks judgment takes the way to her house,

She comes to meet him, dressed as a harlot and cunning of heart

with the hidden intention (Prov. 7:7, 8, 10).

Her hidden intention was to set up the trap so that he maybe unfaithful to his marriage.

In other words, her true intention was to make many men to break the covenant

they made when they got married (Park Yun-sun).

With this hidden intention, she entices and seduces him

With her many persuasions and her flattering lips (v. 21).

Here the word “seduction” comes from Latin and its literal meaning is “to lead astray”.

It means ‘to lead in the wrong direction’, ‘to deceive’ or ‘to corrupt’.

When this word is used in negatively regarding temptation and enticement

It makes a person to cause sexual excitement

so that he may make a choice that leads him to fall and be corrupted (Wikipedia).

Then how does the harlot seduce the naive young man

with lack of judgement to fall and be corrupted?

There are at least three:

(1)   The harlot seduces the naive young man with visual.

(v. 10 – “And behold, a woman comes to meet him, Dressed as a harlot and cunning of heart”)

(2)   The harlot seduces the naive young man with physical touching.

(v. 13 – “So she seizes him and kisses him …”).

(3)   The harlot seduces the naive young man with words.

(v. 21 – “With her many persuasions she entices him; With her flattering lips she seduces him”).

Even now Satan is tempting the naive people like me to fall and to be corrupted.

Satan is enticing my sexual weakness so that I may commit adultery in my heart (Mt. 5:28).

As a result, Satan makes my spiritual strengthen to be exhausted.
