When we see things getting worse and worse …

When we see things getting worse and worse, we can get discourage.

Especially when we see and think rationally that ‘This is humanly impossible’

Then we can even be in despair.

What should we do in this situation?

These days I think about Abraham’s faith again and again.

I am struggling to let the Scripture Romans 4:18-21 to speak to my soul.

In other words, I am asking God for the faith that believes in hope against all hope (v. 18).

I am determined to believe the promise words of God in hope

As I look upon the Lord, my Hope, by faith

Even in the humanly hopeless situation.

Without becoming weak in faith, I want to give glory to God

By growing strong in faith without wavering in unbelief (vv. 19-20).

So I pray to God:

‘Dad Father God, help me to be fully persuaded that God has power to do what He has promised,

That is Matthew 16:18 (regarding Victory Presbyterian Church) and John 6:1-15 (regarding me).

["being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised" (Rom. 4:21)].

In Jesus’ Name I pray.  Amen.’
