When we despaired even of life … (2)

We must know that the the reason why we have the sentence of death within ourselves is

So that we will not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead (2 Cor. 1:8-9).

When we trust in God, we must hope that

God who delivered us in the past

will deliver us not only in this present but also in the future (v. 10).

And we should ask our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ

To join in helping us through their prayers (v. 11).
