When we despaired even of life … (1)

When we are burdened excessively, beyond our strength,

So that we despaired even of life, when we have the sentence of death with ourselves,

We must believe that God’s will is for us to trust in God who raises the dead

Instead of trusting in ourselves.

And we must believe that our Savior God who delivered us in the past from so great a peril of death,

Will not only delivers us in the present crisis but also will deliver us in the future as well

(2 Cor. 1:8-10).
