"an example"

 

 

The Old Testament Israelites who were destroyed in the wilderness

as “an example” for us and our instruction,

Upon the ends of the ages have come

so that we would not crave evil things as they also craved (1 Cor. 10:5, 6, 11).

We shouldn’t be idolaters (v. 7).  We must not act immorality (v. 8).

We shouldn’t try the Lord (v. 9).  And we shouldn’t grumble (v. 10).
