Because we aren’t agreeing to the sound words  ...

 

 

If we don’t agree with “sound words”,

“those of our Lord Jesus Christ,

and with the doctrine conforming to godliness” (1 Tim. 6:3)

then we will hold to “a form of godliness”

but will deny its power (2 Tim. 3:5)

and will suppose that godliness is a means of gain (1 Tim. 6:5).
