We who are strong ought to bear

How can we who are strong bear the weaknesses of those without strengthen

Please them for their good, to their edification?

(Rom. 15:1-2)

First, we should accept those who are weak in faith, just as Christ also accepted us (v. 7).

Also, we must not pass judgement and condemn those who are weak in faith (2:1).

And we shouldn’t look down and pass judgement

on disputable matters with those who are weak in faith (14:1, 3).

We should please those who are weak in faith for their good,

To build them up (15:2).

We should give them hope

Through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures (v. 4).

Therefore we who are strong in faith and those who are weak in faith

Should have a spirit of unity among ourselves as we follow Christ Jesus (v. 5).

As a result,

We should glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

With one heart and mouth (v. 6).
