Pastors must preach two things to the saints

We, the pastors, must preach two things to the saints (2 Cor. 4:5):

1. We must not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord,
2. We must preach ourselves as the Lord’s bond-servants for Jesus’ sake.

But now maybe we are preaching not Christ Jesus as Lord but ourselves

Maybe we are pouring out our hearts that want to be the lord over the saints and/or
Maybe we are emphasizing that we should be served by the saints

With the illusion that we have become their lord.
