The word that is sown on good soil

Hears the word and receives it with joy (Mk. 4:16, 20).

And when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they don’t fall away (v. 17).

Therefore, they are fruitful

And are victorious in fight against the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth

and the desires for other things (v.19).
