The Christians whose heart is pure  ...

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8).

The Christians whose heart is pure  ...

  1. Pursue the purity of the body.
  2. Know that no one can say “I have cleansed my heart, I am pure from my sin” (Prov. 20:9).
  3. Believe not only that all of their sins are forgiven

by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross but also that they have been purified.

  1. Cleanse themselves from the things come from the heart and defile them such as,

“evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders” (Mt. 15:18-19)

And from the deeds of the flesh such as, “immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying,

drunkenness, carousing, and things like these” (Gal. 5:19-21).

They pray to God, “Create in me a clean heart, O God,

And renew a steadfast spirit within me” (Ps. 51:10).

They keep their way pure by keeping it according to God’s word (Ps. 119:9).

  1. Live before the Lord whose eyes are too pure to approve evil (Hab. 1:13).

They clean themselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit,

perfecting holiness in the fear of God (2 Cor. 7:1).

  1. Experience God’s presence.
