A wise Christian with an understanding heart  ... (1 Kgs. 3:9)

Listens to sound doctrine and doesn’t suit his own desire

and listen to what his itching ears want to hear (2 Tim. 4:3).

The wise Christian hears God’s words through God’s servant 

And he is cut to the quick.

So he repents his sins to God according to the pastor’s counsel (Acts 2:37-38),

Instead of becoming a pastor-killer who hates that servant of God (7:54),

He is noble-minded man who has a noble spirit.

He receives the word of God with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily

to see whether these things are so (Acts 17:11).

He is like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,

Which yields its fruit in its season (Ps. 1:1).

He has very good receptive capacity of the word of God.

At the same time, he filters and listens to His word well

In a balanced manner with the receptive capacity of the word of God.
