When we are afraid

When we are afraid, we must put our trust in God. (Ps. 56:3)

When we are afraid, we must pray to God.

We must seek God’s grace (v. 1).

We must seek God’s help (v. 9).

When we are afraid, we must praise the word of God (vv. 4, 10).

We must praise God by faith,

Knowing that God’s promised word will be fulfilled (Cf. Acts 16:25).

When we are afraid, we must rely on God with assurance of salvation (Ps. 56:13).

We must rely on Him as we determine to keep what we have vowed to God (v. 12).
