This hope I have as an anchor of my soul

God who gave me His word of promise interposed with an oath

In order to show to me the promise of the unchangeableness of His purpose.

And God gave strong encouragement to me

So that I can take hold of the hope set before me who has taken refuge in Him.

Is a hope both sure and steadfast (Heb. 6:17-19).
