"O my God, do not take me away in the midst of my days"

 

 

“For my days have been consumed in smoke …” (Ps. 102:3),

“My days are like a lengthened shadow …” (v. 11),

Even though God “has shortened my days” (v. 23),

I pray to God like this:

“"O my God, do not take me away in the midst of my days,

Your years are throughout all generations” (v. 24).
