There may be conflicts because of gifts in the church.

There may be conflicts within the church because of gifts.

I think there are at least four reasons for this:

(1)   Because we forget that the gifts we have received are given to us by the Lord

“according to the grace,”

(2)   Because we don’t acknowledging the different gifts we receive,

(3)   Because we have gone too far in using our gifts,

(4)   Because we use our gifts in pride, and boast ourselves.

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.

 If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.  … 

Live in harmony with one another.

Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.

Do not be conceited.”

(Rom. 12:6, 16)
