The sluggard is unwise.  The unwise man lacks sense.

The sluggard is unwise.

The unwise man lacks sense (Prov. 24:30).

His lack of sense is a priority.

The sluggard is lack of judgement in setting priority,

Which he should do first,

And what he should do later.

For example,

The unwise sluggard doesn’t seek first His kingdom and His righteousness (Mt. 6:33).  

Rather, he worries about his life, what he will eat, or drink;

Or about his body, what he will wear (v. 25).

Since the unwise sluggard doesn’t trust God and His words (vv. 31-33)

He doesn’t live up to the priority that God says.
