Lot shouldn’t have gotten closer there (Gen. 13:10, 12).
Eventually he lived in there (14:12) and made friends with them (19:7).
And he gained an authority there (v. 1).
It was none other than Sodom and Gomorrah where wicked and great sinners lived (13:13).
