The Pressure of my Concern

(2 Cor.11:28) “Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches”.

Why did Paul face daily the pressure?  It was because of his concern for all the churches.  He was concerned that the churches might be weak and thus might be led into sin[(v.29) “Who is weak, and I do not feel weak?  Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn?”].  He was even afraid that “just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ”(v.3).  It was because there were such men who were “false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ” (v.13).  Since Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light (v.14), it is not surprising that if Satan’s servants masquerade as servants of righteousness (v.15).  Their intention is to try to deceive the believers and thus to fall away from faith in Jesus Christ.  Moreover, Paul was afraid that “there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder” (12:20).  And moreover, he was afraid that he would be grieved over many who has sinned earlier and had not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they had indulged (v.21).  Knowing that Paul couldn’t be concerned about the churches.  What are your concerns?
