The Gospel of Jesus Christ (The Four Gospels)
Introduction
I pray that the gospel of Jesus Christ may be proclaimed. All of us Christians must proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We should voluntarily share the good news of Jesus Christ. Even if not voluntarily, we have been given the mission to preach the gospel. Therefore, we must immediately obey in faith, following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. If we do not preach the gospel, misfortune will come upon us (1 Corinthians 9:16-17, The Modern Korean Bible).
Last year, in celebration of the 42nd anniversary of the founding of Victory Presbyterian Church, we thank God for the opportunity to publish, for the first time, a book by our Pastor Emeritus, Missionary Chang Seh Kim. This book, titled “God’s Gospel (Romans 5–8),” is based on his weekly Wednesday sermons during the pandemic, focused on Romans chapters 5 through 8.
Now, as we begin the new year, we are thankful and delighted to publish Pastor Emeritus Chang Seh Kim’s second book, “The Gospel of Jesus Christ (The Four Gospels).” This book was created by taking notes of the sermons he proclaimed every Wednesday, centered on Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and organizing these meditations into one volume. Our hope is that the Lord will use this book according to His will, so that the gospel of Jesus Christ will be preached more widely and effectively.
Praying that the gospel of Jesus Christ will be spread even more widely,
Pastor James Kim
