Is this not a way of making God's word of no effect?

Just like the Pharisees and teachers of the law who taught

that if someone claims they have dedicated

what they should have given to their parents to God,

then they no longer need to honor their parents,

have not we, due to church traditions that taught us

to serve faithfully for the Lord and His church,

neglected our responsibility to care for our families

(even at the expense of sacrifice)?

Is this not a way of making God's word of no effect?
