Because of a disobedient pastor ...

If believers who are suffering because of a disobedient pastor

do their best to avoid the crisis of the church by crying out to God,

but that pastor is deeply asleep spiritually,

won’t the church sink like a ship?

(Ref.: Jonah 1:4-5)

A disobedient pastor is doomed to go downhill.

For such a pastor like Jonah,

the Lord sends a “strong wind” into his life,

causing a “storm” to break his proud heart

(Ref.: Jonah 1:3-4).

A disobedient pastor can also cause enough harm

to the unbelievers who are present.

At that time, God may rebuke the pastor

who is deeply asleep spiritually through one of those unbelievers

(Ref.: Jonah 1:5-6).

Even the church members who are present suffer

because of the disobedient pastor

(Ref.: Jonah 1:4-5).

The only way to immediately calm the hearts of angry church members

toward a disobedient pastor is for the pastor to repent thoroughly.

The only way to immediately calm the hearts of angry family members in a family

is for the head of the family to repent thoroughly

(Ref.: Jonah 1:15).
