We who were “Lo-Ammi” and “Lo-Ruhamah”

have now become “Ammi” and “Ruhamah”!

We who were “Lo-Ammi” have now become “Ammi.”

That is, we were not God’s people, but now we are God’s people.

We were “Lo-Ruhamah,” but now we have become “Ruhamah.”

That is, we were not God’s beloved, but now we are God’s beloved.

(Ref.: Hosea 1:6, 9; 2:1).

This amazing change is because Jesus Christ, the Son of God,

who is “Ruhamah,” became “Lo-Ruhamah” on the cross to save us,

and was forsaken by God the Father

(Ref.: Matthew 27:46).
