We focus on eternal glory.

This is the message from 2 Corinthians 4:17 (Modern Korean Bible):

'For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us

an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.'

We do not lose heart.  Although our outer self is wasting away,

our inner self is being renewed day by day (v. 16).

Although we are destined to face troubles in this world (John 16:33),

we consider these troubles as light and momentary (2 Corinthians 4:17).

The reason is that the suffering we endure now cannot be compared

to the glory that will be revealed in us (Romans 8:18).

'Therefore, I endure everything for the sake of the elect,

that they too may obtain the salvation

that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory' (2 Timothy 2:10).

We endure all suffering while focusing on eternal glory.
