Satan whispers countless lies into our thoughts when we are in crisis,

trying to prevent us from being persuaded by God's word to rely on the Lord.

He causes us to doubt and question the Lord

(Ref.: Isaiah 36:14-16, 18).

When church members who have succumbed

to Satan's temptations speak to us in disbelief ...

When church members who have succumbed to Satan's temptations speak to us in disbelief,

saying things like "God will not rescue you from your crisis,"

we should remain silent and not respond to them at all.

(Ref.: Isaiah 36:21).

The reason we should remain silent is to avoid listening to the voices of disbelief

and instead focus on hearing the voice of God

and believing in the sound of His word.
