The wisdom that God gives us (1)

The wisdom that God gives us will keep us from forsaking the straight path,

and from walking in paths of darkness and crooked ways,

delighting instead in upright behavior and avoiding wickedness and evil deeds,

protecting us from the ways of wicked people who speak deviously and say disgraceful things

(Ref.: Proverbs 2:12-15).

The wisdom that God gives us will deliver us from the seductive woman

who leads us astray, forsaking our husband and forgetting the covenant before God.

Anyone who goes to her is foolish and will not be able to turn back,

unable to regain the path of life

(Ref.: Proverbs 2:16-19).
