‘You fools, when will you become wise?’

A senseless foolish young man, at twilight when it is getting dark,

walks along the street near the corner

where a promiscuous woman lives, towards her house.

(Ref.: Proverbs 7:6-9).

The senseless fool is clever at doing evil

but knows nothing about doing good

(Ref.: Jeremiah 4:22).

A senseless adulterer is only destroying himself

(Proverbs 6:32).

A whip is waiting for the back of a senseless person

(Proverbs 10:13).

God says to such people,

'Understand, you senseless ones among the people;

you fools, when will you become wise?' (Psalms 94:8).

We must use our discernment, trained by practice,

to distinguish good from evil

(Ref.: Hebrews 5:14).
