They will become poor.

and those who bribe the rich for their own gain

will become poor

A person who is poor but lives honestly

 

A person who is poor but lives honestly

is better than a false rich person.

But we seem to prefer a false rich person

over an honest poor person

(Ref.: Proverbs 28:6).

A person who is poor but lives truthfully

is better than a person who is rich but whose lips are lying and foolish.

A truthful poor person is better than a lying rich person

Poor couple or rich couple?

 

It is better for a married couple

who are poor but serve together with the fear of God

than a married couple who are rich

but always live in anguish

(Ref.: Proverbs 15:17).
