When we go through very painful times

due to unspeakable difficulties ...

When we go through very painful times due to unspeakable difficulties,

no matter how much we look around, we may find no one to help, protect, or care for us.

Why does the Lord, knowing we are in a time of suffering,

not send someone to help, protect, or care for us, but rather cut off all such support?

It may be because the Lord wants to teach us that He alone

is our helper, protector, caregiver, and everything we need in this world

(Ref.: Psalms 142:4-5).
