We can only praise God, saying,

‘God is good and His love for us is everlasting!’

When they laid the foundation of the temple of Jerusalem,

the priests and Levites from the house of Asaph praised and gave thanks to God,

singing, "For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel."

Then all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord

because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid

(Ezra 3:10-11).

"Our temple of God" is nothing but "Jesus Christ" (2 Corinthians 6:16).

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one that has been laid;

that foundation is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3:11).

Therefore, with hearts full of gratitude, we can only praise and say,

"God is good, and his love toward us is eternal!"
