Let us decide to ask God.
When King Jehoshaphat heard the report that a vast army from Edom was coming
to attack him and had already seized Hazazon Tamar,
he was afraid and resolved to inquire of the Lord.
He also proclaimed a fast for all of Judah
(2 Chronicles 20:1-3).
Yesterday afternoon, I had a prayer meeting via Zoom
with a dear younger brother from university.
We shared our hearts and decided that, even when we face situations
where it seems impossible to be thankful with our physical eyes,
we should choose to give thanks in faith.
When we suddenly encounter overwhelming difficulties,
we should, like Daniel, humble ourselves before our God
(Daniel 10:12) and, like King Jehoshaphat, resolve to seek the Lord
(2 Chronicles 20:3) and pray to Him.
