Satan can tempt us to sin even through our loved ones.

King Ahaziah of Judah also followed the evil ways of Israel's King Ahab,

influenced by his mother Athaliah, who was from the wicked lineage of Ahab

(daughter of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel, known for her cruel nature).

She led Ahaziah into doing evil

(2 Chronicles 22:2-4).

After his father Jehoram died, Ahaziah followed the teachings

of his relatives from the house of Ahab and committed evil in the sight of God.

As I reflect on this passage,

I realize that Satan can tempt us

and even lead us into sin through our loved ones

(Ref.: 1 Thessalonians 3:5).
