In the end, the reason Satan and his forces can only fail

is because the Lord will prevail.

When King Artaxerxes' response letter arrived,

he instructed that the work on rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem

should be halted until further orders, ensuring no harm would come to him.

Upon receiving the letter, "Rehum the commander and Shimshai the secretary,

together with their associates, carried out its contents promptly,

stopping the work on the rebuilding of the city walls with force and power."

As I reflect on this passage,

Satan and his forces opposing the church will use any means

to hinder the establishment of the Lord's church.

While they may initially appear victorious,

in the end, they can only fail because the Lord will prevail.
