True repentance in the eyes of God is

realizing, even slightly, how much we have angered God

by not obeying the words of the Bible

and failing to do everything recorded in it for us.

This realization leads us to humble ourselves before God,

rend our hearts, and weep before Him.

I long for the grace of this repentance

(Ref.: 2 Kings 22:13-19; Joel 2:13).
