Satan, who is very crafty, is still controlling

very crafty people like Jonadab ...

The very cunning Jonadab (2 Samuel 13:3) said to King David,

who had torn his clothes and lay on the ground,

believing all the princes had been killed by Absalom,

"Not all the king's sons are dead! Only Amnon is dead.

Absalom has been determined to kill him

ever since Amnon raped his sister Tamar.

Do not be too distressed. Not all the princes are dead; only Amnon is dead"

(2 Samuel 13:31-32).

In reality, Jonadab was the manipulative figure

behind Amnon's assault on Tamar,

which ultimately led to Absalom killing Amnon.

Therefore, it can be considered that the one responsible for Amnon's death

was the very cunning Jonadab.

The very cunning Satan continues to manipulate people

as cunning as Jonadab to orchestrate attacks on the families of Christians,

who are descendants of David and believers in Jesus Christ,

leading to their destruction.

I pray that God will thwart the plans of such cunning individuals

like Jonadab around us, preventing their schemes from succeeding

(Job 5:12).
